Kalium muriaticum is the chief remedy for bronchitis, colds, catarrh, dyspepsia, stomach derangements, Ulcerated sore throat, tonsillitis, and catarrhal infection of the middle ear. Kali Mur is the remedy for white thick discharges, white tongue and white mucous. It counteracts toxins in the body by eliminating them by any means e.g. through vomiting or mucous.
