Magnesia Phosphorica:

Phosphate of magnesium is the anti-spasmodic, tissue salt. It is the remedy which relieves cramps and aches. This salt is found in the blood cells, muscles, brain, nerves, bones and teeth. It is helpful in the treatment of frequent cramps and spasms of muscles. It is indicated in the treatment of muscle pains e.g. menstrual pains, common tensions in the neck or shoulders and painful spasms in the gastrointestinal tract. It specializes in cramping or radiating pain symptoms. It works best for symptoms that improve with heat and worsen with cold. It supports the treatment of cramps, and kidney and gall bladder pain.

Where it Acts?

It acts mainly on brain, nerves, muscles, intestines and uterus.

Visual assessment:

Physical signs:

• Thin and tired.
• Muscle cramps.
• Nerve pains

Facial signs:

• Red, round spots on the cheeks (always or temporarily).
• Red spots on the neck.
• Otherwise pale skin.
• Hot flashes.
• Muscle contractions.
• Twitching of the eyelids.

Indications:

• Nerve pains such as neuralgia, neuritis, sciatica.
• All cramps & spasm.
• Menstrual colic.
• Toothache.
