Introduction:

Hypertension:

Hypertensionis defined as a persistence increase inblood pressureabove the normal range of 120/80 mmHg. The prevalence ofhypertensionincreases with advancing age, it is a major risk factor for coronary artery disease and its complications, heart failure, stroke, and renal insufficiency.

Blood pressure ranges are:

• Normal; Less than 120 over 80 (120/80)
• Elevated: 120-129/less than 80
• Stage 1 high blood pressure: 130-139/80-89
• Stage 2 high blood pressure: 140 and above/90 and above
• Hypertension crisis: higher than 180/higher than 120

Causes:

The exact causes of high blood pressure are not known, but several things may play a role, including:

Indications:

The cause of hypertension including, salt-sensitive individuals, abnormality in arteries, stressful life, renal diseases, adrenal adenoma, hypokalemia, thyroid disorders, etc. Major signs and symptoms of hypertension are tinnitus, dizziness or vertigo, head heaviness, shortness of breath, irritable, face or eyes are burned, visual problems, trembling, disturb sleep, sore back or knees. Clinical trials show that Masood’s HR 11 controls the high blood pressure eliminating almost all the hypertension causes.

Pharmacology:

The unique formulation of HR 11 contains R. serpentine, Allium Sativa, Calcium Iod, Crataegus oxy, Glonine, Kalium Iod, Rauwolfia Serp, Viscum Alb. Their various pharmacological activities include anticholinergic, hypotensive, anticontractile, sedative, relaxant, hyperthermic, antidiuretic, sympathomimetic, hypnotic, vasodilator, antiemetic, anti-fibrillar activity and tranquilizing and anti-arrhythmic. HR 11 may have following pharmacological attributes: By the action on vasomotor center, as it leads to generalized vasodilatation by lowering blood pressure. By depressant action on the cerebral center as it soothes the general nervous system. It exerts a sedative action on the gastric mucosa and shows stimulating action on the plain musculature of the intestinal tract.

HR 11 holds an important position due to the presence of various alkaloids in the oleoresin fraction of the roots of R. serpentina. Alkaloids of this plant have great medicinal importance to treat cardiovascular diseases, high blood pressure, hypertension, arrhythmia, various psychiatric diseases. Rauwolfia contains reserpine is the main alkaloid that shows the highly complex pattern of activity mainly a variation of amine concentration in the brain. It is responsible for influencing the concentration of glycogen, acetyl choline, g-amino butyric acid, nucleic acids, and anti-diuretic hormone. The effects of reserpine include respiratory inhibition, stimulation of peristalsis, myosis, and relaxation of nictating membranes and also influence temperature-regulating center.

Formula and Qualities:

Allium Sativum1D:This medicine work best in high blood pressure persons. Pulsation in temples, heaviness of head, suffocation in larynx and difficult breathing.

Calcarea Iodata 3D:This remedy is useful in headache with high blood pressure, dilated veins and stretched neck muscles.

Crataegus Oxyacantha1D:Useful in inflammation of heart muscles, high blood pressure, murmurs, anemia, stiffness of heart muscles and weakness of heart activities.

Glonoinum1D:Best remedy when a rush of blood towards the head and face, sudden irregular blood circulation, sever tetanic condition and formation of clots in the head.

Kali Iodatum 3D:Frontal sinus is key point of this remedy. Acts best on connective tissues and fibers, spitting of blood with high blood pressure.

Rauwolfia serpentina1D:Useful when there is contraction of vessels with high blood pressure, starchiness of neck and head.

Olea Europaea 1D:Heaviness of head and drowsiness, rush of blood towards head, high blood pressure, chilliness, legs are cold as if ice.
